I’m a big fan of Thorsten Ball’s blog and I’m trying to do something similar. To his Joy&Curiosity weekly link digest.

Neat trick from Wes Boss on how to use Grid areas to stack one element on top of another in order to keep button width same as longer element. In this example it’s switching between button text and a loading spinner inside of button. I really liked this one and I think it can be useful for many cases.

I’ve been a Kagi user for some time now and I like it a lot. Only thing I’m missing is maps. When I type something like “ATM
<bank name>
” Google would as a first result show ATMs of that bank in my area in Google Maps. With Kagi that’s not the case, those searches are actually unusable and I think for those kind of prompts they should default to Google Result. Fix is to search in google maps, but that requires opening new App or new tab -
Kagi Summarizer is awesome. I use it for long papers/articles about stuff I want to know what it is about, but don’t have time to deep dive so I just need key moments/tldr.
